At Chess Capital, we invest our own family wealth alongside yours. We built this fund to preserve capital, minimize drawdowns, and deliver attractive long-term returns.

We follow a disciplined value investing philosophy, meaning that all investment choices are based on a fundamental valuation. Our portfolio is built on three complementary pillars with three clear objectives in mind:
STRATEGY
- Direct stock selection – Carefully chosen companies with strong fundamentals, bought only when attractively priced.
- Boutique value managers – A hand-picked group of exceptional, often hard-to-access managers with proven track records and low correlation to each other.
- Protective option strategy – A dedicated fund designed to profit in downturns, inspired by Nassim Taleb’s “black swan” approach.

- Capital preservation first through diversification and protective strategies, limiting drawdowns.
- Offering a tax-friendly and strictly regulated structure through our Luxembourg SICAV-SIF.
- Target 12–18% annual returns over the long term
The unique combination of our own high believe direct stock selection, boutique value managers and a protective option strategy allows us to compound returns while protecting capital in volatile markets. Even better, it allows us to generate cash when markets are down and when we can put it at work at the best moment.
